Abstract

This study aims to examine the decomposition method of liquid waste in the home industry, especially in the tofu industry, by using non-thermal plasma and electrocoagulant methods that are environmentally friendly and with low energy. In this study, the plasma method, electro-coagulant method, and a combination of both (electro-coagulant followed by plasma method and plasma followed by electro-coagulant method) were used to decompose liquid waste in the tofu industry. The results showed that non-thermal plasma followed by the electrocoagulation method was the most effective in reducing the T.D.S. value of 1983 ppm (the minimum value of the total control T.D.S. was around 2702 ppm), the minimum value of electrical conductivity (E.C.) was around 3967 (μs/cm), and also obtained a value of 3967 (μs/cm). pH 7.0. Based on the research results, non-thermal plasma combined with the electrocoagulant method can be applied to more optimally decompose liquid waste, especially in the tofu industry. The combination method of plasma and electrocoagulation to decompose the tofu industrial wastewater, which is environmentally friendly, is the novelty of this research

Abstract

This research is done to (1) know the percentage of use of textbooks by students in the Basic Physics course; (2) to know the percentage of students using online learning resources in Basic Physics courses; (3) find out the tendency of students to use both learning sources while undergoing Basic Physics course activities in 2020/2021 even semester. This research is a quantitative descriptive study and applies incidental sampling. The population and sample are 259 and 50 students. The results showed that (1) the percentage of students using textbooks in the Basic Physics course was 54% stating often, 32% saying sometimes and 14% saying rarely; (2) the percentage of students using online learning resources in Basic Physics courses is 92% stating often, 6% stating sometimes, and 2% stating rarely; (3) the tendency of students to use both learning resources during their Even Semester 2020/2021 Basic Physics course shows that the use of online learning resources is greater than the use of textbooks.

Abstract

Many studies on graphene applied to DSSC have been carried out with the aim of increasing the efficiency of power conversion in organic solar cells. This research was conducted to find the best composition of soar cells so that they can be utilized and converted into electrical energy. The use of graphene as a photoanode can increase the conversion efficiency along with good electrical conductivity values in graphene. This review aims to analyze the process of increasing power conversion efficiency in DSSC caused by the addition of graphene to TiO2 which acts as a photoanode in DSSC during the last five years. The results of the measurement of DSSC efficiency increased when the addition of reduced graphene oxide to TiO2 was carried out.

Abstract

Learning management systems (LMS) have become a key component of teaching and learning in schools. However, the evaluation of student acceptance rates on its implementation so far has not been widely reported. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the acceptance rate of LMS among students in terms of gender and grade level. The level of student acceptance of the LMS in administration through an online survey using Google forms. A total of 141 students who took physics subjects from class XI and XII, one of the vocational high schools were involved. Acceptance of the LMS uses a 21-item LMSAS (Learning Management System Acceptability Scale) developed by Sezer and Yilmaz in 2019. The LMSAS uses a 5-point Likert scale, from 1 (Strongly Disagree) to 5 (Strongly Agree). LMS acceptance components include Performance Expectancy (PE), Effort Expectancy (EE), Facilitating Condition (FC), and Social Influence (SI). Wright map and Logit Value of Person (LVP) were used to assess LMS acceptance among students. The analysis results show that student acceptance of the LMS is distributed chiefly at a good level of acceptance. As many as 84% of students received the LMS. Based on gender, 65% of male students are quite accepting of the LMS. Based on class, class XII students are more dominant (35.5%) receiving LMS. Thus, most students in public vocational high schools welcome the LMS well.

Abstract

The Purpose of the research to analyze the needs of an appropriate in physics learning E-LKPD, the Covid-19 pandemic era. The research used a qualitative descriptive method. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 4 Bengkulu City. The research subjects are students, teachers, and vice headmaster of curriculum. Collecting data using questionnaires and interview guidelines. Data analysis used Miles-Huberman. The data validity technique uses source triangulation. The Result of research provides several conclusions that no E-LKPD is suitable for online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic era, so it is necessary to develop an E-LKPD that is following the Covid-19 emergency curriculum. E-LKPD in question is E-LKPD which can improve students' critical thinking skills with inquiry learning models or problem-based learning (PBL).

Abstract

Parabolic motion is the typical phenomenon in classical mechanics. The students are able to understand the concept by reading the data in the parabolic function. However, there is limited material for visual impaired students to study the parabolic motion data. One of the solutions to overcome this problem is the parabolic motion experiment development using sonification method. Research has been carried out to analyze the accuracy of the frequency produced by the speakers in data conversion assisted by Arduino Uno. The research also analyzes the effect of elevation angle variations on the resulting frequency changes. The data collection process is carried out by analyzing the percentage of accuracy using the average technique of the data recorded by the Phyphox application. The data analysis of the Phyphox application is compared with the data obtained from the Tracker application. From the results of data analysis obtained the percentage value of the velocity for the angle 30o, 45o, and 70o were 99.92%, 99.67%, and 98.42%, respectively. Therefore, it can be said that the preliminary sonification study is feasible to be used in physics experiments on parabolic motion learning, especially for visual impaired students. The final plotting result of this research shows that the frequency versus time at each angle produces a graph in the parabolic form. While the effect of angle variations on frequency changes is that the larger the angle, the slower it will reach the peak frequency.
